The main difference between a Top Sites list and a banner exchange is not having to rely on your website visitors to vote for your site. By becoming a Banner Exchange member your website will get the hits and promotion it deserves. Q: Who can join the banner exchange? A: Anybody who has a needlework related web site. Q: How does a Banner Exchange work? A: You place my Banner Exchange html code on your site. I suggest you place the Banner Exchange html code on your index.html page because this means you will get a 'credit' for every surfer who visits your site. Every time your website displays a banner from my exchange, your banner is in turn displayed on another website. This means if you are a new website and have maybe only 30 visitors a day, you can be certain that your own banner will be displayed on 30 established websites, which ensures your website maximum exposure. Of course you can place the banner exchange code on as many of your website pages as you desire. The more banners you display, the more your own banner will be displayed on other websites. My ratio is 1:1 most Banner Exchange ratio's are 2:1 or 3:1 meaning you have to display at least 2 or 3 banners on your website before your own banner will be displayed once on another website.
